Cook millet with extra liquid until very soft, then blend or mash into a thick, smooth porridge. Thin it with breast milk, formula, or water to a spoonable texture.

Serve soft cooked millet a little thicker so your baby can scoop it, or press it into small soft patties or balls that are easy to pick up.

Offer fluffy cooked millet as a side, or mixed into soft dishes with vegetables, fruit, or yogurt. Skip added salt and sugar.
